Czech Republic

Hi Everyone,

I’ve just returned from conducting seminars in the Czech Republic. It started off a bit crazy with a missed connection but I made it to Prague eventually.
I started off in Jablonec by teaching a small class at Ondra Musil Sensei’s dojo on the Thursday night.
On Friday we met Joe Thambu sensei, Chris Johnston sensei and Inoue Aikio sensei for lunch before the seminar started Friday night.
Team teaching with Thambu sensei and Johnston sensei was great as always and perhaps it will become a November tradition!
The classes were well attended with almost 60 people on the mat on Saturday.
On the following Monday I was picked up by Zdenek Bresna sensei and driven to Ceska Lipa.
Taught every day for the rest of the week and the classes were great. Zdenek is a part of the Shobukan group and his students tried very hard to copy what I was teaching. The seminars were small but the energy was big!!… the energy was also helped in a big way by the addition of Harald, Rolf, Chris and Andreas from Germany and Colin and Bryan from the UK. My biggest thanks for taking the time to attend.

All in all it was a great twelve days with good training, great noodles and some pretty good beer!!

This was my last trip for 2024 and I’m already looking forward to 2025!

Thanks to Ondra Musil sensei and Zdenek Bresna sensei for taking such good care of me. Really looking forward until we can meet on the tatami again.

All my best wishes to everyone,
