Special Classes: Iaido, Kenshu (Aikido) and Karate

  • Iaido: One weekly class in Japanese Sword (Iaido). Yoshinkan Aikido is based on the Japanese sword, so this class will be highly complementary to your aikido training.
  • Kenshu aikido class: Currently one class per month, Kenshu means “research”. In this class we will delve into “Riai” or logical explanation behind a technique. In Japan, Kenshu was traditionally taken by Uchi Deshi and those taking their Instructor Training as well as anyone else who wished to deepen their knowledge and bring their training to a higher level.
